The nominations for the Online Film Critics Society Awards were announced today and Black art is front and center in many categories. Chief among them is If Beale Street Could Talk, which received six nominations, including Best Director, Best Picture and Best Supporting Actress (Regina King), just in time for its wide release in theaters nationwide.

The Spike Lee-directed pic BlacKkKlansman earned five nods, including Best Picture, Best Director, and Best Lead Actor (John David Washington). Regina Hall earned a Best Actress nomination for her role as Lisa Conway in Support The Girls, furthering her Oscar momentum.

Widows, which has been egregiously shut out for most of this awards season, received three nominations, including Best Adapted Screenplay. Black Panther also got multiple nominations, including Michael B. Jordan for Black Panther.
