Disney/Pixar’s latest film Onward has been banned in several Middle Eastern countries due to one of the characters mentioning a lesbian relationship, according to Deadline. The character is played by Lena Waithe.

In the film, Waithe’s police officer character Spector, thought to be Disney/Pixar’s first openly gay character, talks briefly about her family, saying, “It’s not easy being a new parent–my girlfriend’s daughter got me pulling my hair out, okay?”

The line has led to countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, and Oman blocking the film from release, according to Deadline. Middle Eastern countries that has released the film are Egypt, Lebanon and Bahrain.

The film, which also stars Octavia Spencer, is currently rated as 86 percent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes and is now playing in theaters in the U.S.
