The season 2 trailer for Starz’s hit series P-Valley has debuted, along with a new poster promoting the upcoming season.

The second season of the critically-acclaimed show promises to bring more stakes to the characters’ lives as the COVID-19 pandemic reaches Chucalissa. Not only that, but some new additions to Pynk are making themselves known in big ways. As the official description states:

When darkness descends upon Chucalissa, errybody and they mama must fight tooth and talon to survive. While some take flight to perilous new heights, others dig in their stilettos and stand their ground no matter the cost. Back at The Pynk, Autumn and Uncle Clifford grapple for the throne as new blood shakes up the locker room. Meanwhile, with the casino’s fate hanging in the balance, the local political machine kicks into overdrive. In these unprecedented times, death and danger lurk around every corner.

The series is created and executive produced by Pulitzer Prize winner Katori Hall, based on her play Pussy Valley. The series stars Nicco Annan, Brandee Evans, Elarica Johnson and Shannon Thornton. Other main cast members include J. Alphonse Nicholson, Parker Sawyers, Harriett D. Foy, Dan J. Johnson, Morocco Omari, Dominic DeVore, Tyler Leply, Jordan M. Cox, and Skyler Joy.

New additions to the cast include John Clarence Stewart, Shamika Cotton, Gail Bean, Psalms Salazar, and introducing newcomer Miracle Watts.

The second season of P-Valley comes to Starz June 3 at 9/8c on STARZ and at midnight on the STARZ app and STARZ streaming and on-demand platforms.
