Starz has upped three recurring cast members from season 1 to series regulars for the upcoming second season of the P-Valley.

Shadow and Act has confirmed that Morocco Omari, Dominic Devore and Jordan M. Cox will be main cast members for season 2.

'P-Valley' takes viewers to the Dirty South and explores the multifaceted story of a “little strip club that could.”

The series is unapologetically southern, and a musically influenced look at small-town folks dreaming of something bigger.

Here are the official descriptions for the new series regulars for P-Valley:

Morocco Omari returns as Big-L, “Uncle Clifford’s mean-teddy-bear-lookin-ass right hand. The man who guards the safe and knows where all the bodies are buried— figuratively and literally. With the club under new ownership and new duress, Big L continues to carve out his own sphere of influence.”page1image44176640

Dominic Devore returns as Duffy, “the friendly neighborhood plug who moves weight across the country in his big rig. A true romantic with a heart of gold and a wandering eye, Duffy might be ready to settle down for good, but that’s much easier said than done.”

Jordan M. Cox returns as Derrick, “the abusive boyfriend and baby daddy to Pynk headliner, Keyshawn, AKA Miss Mississippi. In the wake of the disastrous Murda Night, he struggles to change for the better.”

The returning cast includes:

The returning cast includes Nicco Annan (This is Us) as Uncle Clifford, Elarica Johnson (Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince) as Autumn Night, Brandee Evans (The Bobby Brown Story) as Mercedes, Shannon Thornton (Power) as Miss Mississippi, J. Alphonse Nicholson (Chicago P.D.) as Lil’ Murda, Parker Sawyers as Andre, Harriett D. Foy  as Pastor Woodbine, Dan J. Johnson as Corbin, Tyler Lepley as Diamond and Skyler Joy as Gidget.

The show recently announced Gail Bean as a new recurring cast member and Psalms Salazar as series regular.

The series is based on Katori Hall’s play Pussy Valley and she serves as showrunner and executive producer for the series.

The official description for 'P-Valley':

Down deep in the Mississippi Delta lies an oasis of grit and glitter in a rough patch of human existence where beauty can be hard to find. This southern-fried, hour-long drama tells the kaleidoscopic story of a little-strip-club-that-could and the big characters who come through its doors—the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful, and the damned. Trap music meets film noir in this lyrical and atmospheric series that dares to ask what happens when small-town folk dream beyond the boundaries of the Piggly Wiggly and the pawnshop.

Based on her play “Pussy Valley,” Katori Hall serves as showrunner and executive producer. Dante Di Loreto also serves as an executive producer on the series. Lionsgate Television produces the series STARZ.
