UPDATE (5/13/2019 PM): There could be a glimmer of hope of Patty’s Auto. Although Fox passed on the current iteration of the pilot that was presented, Deadline is reporting that the project could be repiloted. The trade magazine’s Nellie Andreeva writes, “While I hear Fox brass were split over execution, they liked the idea and the auspices involved, including writer/exec producer Darlene Hunt and exec producer Elizabeth Banks. I hear there may be a discussion after the upfront whether to repilot the project.”

The report is unclear as to whether the talent from the original pilot would carry over if the project gets a redo.

Previously reportedFox is not moving forward with Patty’s AutoAmid a bloodbath at the network, which saw series like Star not returning, a few pilots, including the Kyla Pratt-starring comedy, were not ordered.

The series would have also starred Carra Patterson, Joanna P. Adler, Sarah Levy and Paola Lázaro.

The project was inspired by the real-life Girls Auto Clinic founded by Patrice Banks, centering on Patty (Patterson) and the “eclectic” women who work for her.

Pratt would have played Tiny, Patty’s younger sister. Elizabeth Banks is among the exec producers for the project.
