Paula Jai Parker, Jo Marie Payton and Gary LeRoi Gray have been cast in the upcoming indie film, Conundrum: Secrets Among Friends.

We reported earlier that Kristinia DeBarge had been cast in the film.

The film’s description reads that it “follows a group of longtime friends who take a weekend getaway to a beach house in the Hamptons, and all hell breaks loose as their secrets come to light.” Christian Vincent, Marianna Gavelo and Bronson Pelletier and Cameron Bright also star.

It is co-written and directed by Michelle A. Daniel in her feature film debut. This reunites Parker and Payton, who voiced the characters of Trudy Proud and Suga Mama on The Proud Family. Parker, most known for her roles in films like Friday and Hustle & Flow, stars on TV One’s reality show, Hollywood Divas, and in recent years has recurred on Showtime’s Ray Donovan and HBO’s True Blood. Payton, most known for her role as Harriet Winslow on the sitcoms Perfect Strangers and Family Matters, can currently be seen starring in Mann & Wife on Bounce TV.

Gray, who portrayed Nelson Tibideaux on The Cosby Show as a child, is a prominent voice actor, voicing characters on shows like Filmore, The Fairly OddParents, Rocket Power and many more.

The film is set for release in November 2018.
