Phylicia Rashad Reveals Hopes For 'David Makes Man'

Tyler Perry’s A Fall From Grace star Phylicia Rashad has high hopes for the upcoming second season of OWN’s David Makes Man.

Rashad, who plays Dr. Woods-Trap in the series, admitted that while she doesn’t have insight as to what will happen in the next season, she seemed confident the next season would be just as strong as the first.

“I don’t know what will happen because season one was such a revelation and you didn’t know what would happen,” she said to Shadow And Act’s Trey Mangum. “But I know that it will continue to have very strong writing, very strong performances, well-thought-out visuals because everything was carefully thought out. That Tarell Alvin McCraney is…he’s a little wizard.”
