The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Porsha Williams may not hold a peach anymore but that hasn’t stopped her from making headlines. Williams replaced The Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer on Peacock’s currently filming thirrd season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. She is joining fellow housewives Heather Gay and Whitney Rose from Salt Lake City, Leah McSweeney from New York, Miami’s Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola, and Gizelle Bryant and Candace Dillard Bassett from Potomac.

An old beef has resurfaced ahead of the trip, and fans are wondering what kind of drama will occur between Dillard Bassett and Williams. The two have had issues in the past regarding some comments Williams made about Dillard Bassett’s lawsuit against Monique Samuels after their physical fight. Both women are a force to be reckoned with so who knows what can happen when they two get next to each other. There might be trouble in paradise, literally.

The group of Housewives’ will take a girl’s trip to Thailand, where there is sure to be plenty of drama.

Williams and Dillard Bassett have history

In 2020, Williams made public comments about Dillard Bassett suing her Samuels. Williams and Samuels are reportedly friends, with Samuels attending Williams’ baby shower.

During Season 5 of RHOP, Dillard Bassett and Samuels got into a physical fight at a winery. Samuels had to be pulled off Dillard Bassett. The “Drive Back” singer filed charges against Samuels and Samuels filed counter-assault charges. Ultimately the charges were dismissed, but Williams had her own opinions of the incident.

On an episode of 'Bravo's Chat Room,' Williams joked that she felt Dillard Bassett was suing Samuels to buy a new home. Dillard Bassett didn't appreciate the comments.

“I don’t know Porsha, I’ve never met her, I know her through the television like everyone else,” she said in response to Williams. “I never had an issue prior to being sent a clip of her on ‘Chat Room ‘with my castmate Gizele, lying and spreading information-damning, defaming information-about me alleging I was trying to sue Monique to secure a down payment on my home.”

"I responded in an interview because it's one thing to defend your friend, it's one thing to talk general smack about me in defense of your friend, but when you flat-out lie, yes I'm going to address it. She should be very careful about the lies  that she tells. It's a dangerous move," Dillard Bassett later said.

Williams has had her fair share of physical altercations on RHOA, having gotten physical with Kenya Moore, Cynthia Bailey, and a former friend named Jaime. Moore sued Williams for assault and later dropped the charges.

Things seem to be good so far

Bryant posted a cast photo with everyone looking friendly, including Dillard Bassett and Williams grinning and side by side.

Still, only time will tell how the trip really went.
