After eight years on Dish Nation, Porsha Williams is calling it quits. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star took to Instagram on Wednesday to give fans the news. Williams’s last day is Aug 27.

“Goodbyes are never easy, and this one is especially hard. For the past eight years, I’ve worked on one of the most fun, collaborative, exciting, and best produced shows on television. But as I continuously start new chapters in my life, it means I have to close others,” Williams wrote.

“Since 2013, everybody at Dish has been like family to me. There’s a lot of people I’ve met along this journey that I am incredibly thankful for,” she added. “Whether it was on air or behind the scenes, they’ve endlessly supported my career and more importantly, my happiness.”

Williams closed her Instagram post by thanking her Dish family and fans. “Thank you all for an unforgettable run and almost 10 years of my life I am eternally grateful for. Keep dishing! Love you ♥️”

Williams has been in the spotlight even more than usual after Mother’s Day weekend when she disclosed that she and RHOA castmate Falynn Pina’s ex-husband, Simon Guobadia were engaged after a month of dating.

Since the disclosure of that news, Williams and Guobadia have continued to be in the spotlight with the latter having a full-blown-out social media debacle with his soon-to-be ex-wife. Shortly after taking to Instagram to post about their love for each other, a woman that the internet dubbed a young Karen Huger look-alike took to social media to disclose she and Simon were also dating around the same time as he and Porsha.

Williams has not reveaaled if she would be returning to the new season of RHOA. However, she’s still with Bravo as she has a series centered on her personal life in the works and rumored to be filming.
