Though Power will conclude its final season when it returns in 2020, a sequel series, Power Book II: Ghost, is currently filming

We already know that Mary J. Blige will star in the series, but she’s the only confirmed actress so far. However, 50 Cent may have confirmed that a series regular on Power will transition to the spinoff and also have a key role.

In an Instagram post that has now been deleted, 50 Cent posted a photo on the set of the spinoff with actors Gianni Paolo and Michael Rainey Jr. The photo was captioned, “On set of Power Book ll right now you know the vibes #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac STARZ get the app.” Does this mean Tariq will be a key character in the spinoff?

Though Rainey Jr. could just be guest-starring, the fact that 50 Cent deleted the post might mean that there could be a deeper implication and spoiler for Power Book II: Ghost.

The series is just one of several Power spinoffs that are in the works at the network from Courtney Kemp and 50 Cent.
