After the conclusion of Starz’s Power, the network has announced three more spinoffs in addition to Power Book II: Ghost, which is due later this year. They also dropped a first-look teaser for the first spinoff and confirmed its cast.
Led the previously-confirmed Mary J. Blige and Method Man, the series will also see Power stars Michael Rainey Jr. (Tariq St. Patrick), Shane Johnson (Cooper Saxe), Naturi Naughton (Tasha St. Patrick), Gianni Paolo (Brayden) and Quincy Tyler Bernstine (Tameika Washington) return. New cast members include Daniel Bellomy, Paige Hurd, Melanie Liburd, Justin McManus, Woody McClain, Lovell Adams-Gray andLaToya Tonodeo.
The official description of the new series reads: “Power Book II: Ghost will pick up the narrative just days after the Power finale. The sequel then follows Tariq navigating his new life, in which his desire to shed his father’s legacy comes up against the mounting pressure to save his family.”
The series premieres this summer.
