'Power Book II: Ghost': T.I. Was Reportedly Originally Cast To Play Davis MacLean Before Being Replaced By Method Man

Before Method Man was cast in the role of lawyer Davis MacLean in the Starz hit series Power, another well-known rapper was tapped to play the part.

While recently speaking with TMZ in L.A., Power Book II: Ghost stars Michael Rainey and Gianni Paolo revealed that T.I. was originally cast as the famous Defense Attorney in the show. However, Tip was replaced by Method Man before filming had begun.

While it’s unclear why the plans to feature T.I. in Power fell through, some are guessing that his past issues with the show’s creator 50 Cent might have had something to do with his replacement.

TMZ reached out to T.I. for some clarity, but they have yet to hear anything back.

Power Book II: Ghost season 3 is set to premiere later this year.
