Apple TV+ has dropped the For All Mankind season 3 trailer, a trailer has dropped for Hulu’s Prey from 20th Century Studios is coming to Hulu in August 2022, and Hulu dropped a trailer for its upcoming original movie Good Luck to You, Leo Grande starring Emma Thompson — all in today’s Shadow and Act news roundup.

Season 3 of 'For All Mankind' gets premiere date and trailer

Apple. TV+ has renewed For All Mankind for a third season.

Season 3 will see the Red Planet become “the new frontier in the Space Race not only for the U.S. and the Soviet Union, but also an unexpected new entrant with a lot to prove and even more at stake. Our characters find themselves going head-to-head as their ambitions for Mars come into conflict and their loyalties are tested, creating a pressure cooker that builds to a climactic conclusion.”

The ensemble cast includes Joel Kinnaman, Shantel VanSanten, Jodi Balfour, Sonya Walger, Krys Marshall, Cynthy Wu, Casey Johnson, Coral Peña and Wrenn Schmidt, along with new series regular Edi Gathegi who will play Dev Ayesa.

Season 3 of the critically-acclaimed series will debut June 10 on Apple TV+. New episodes will drop weekly every Friday through August 12, 2022.

Hulu and 20th Century Studios drop 'Prey' trailer

Hulu has a brand new action-thriller film coming to its platform this summer.

Prey, which is the newest entry in the Predator franchise, tells the story of “a young woman, Naru, a fierce and highly skilled warrior. She has been raised in the shadow of some of the most legendary hunters who roam the Great Plains, so when danger threatens her camp, she sets out to protect her people. The prey she stalks, and ultimately confronts, turns out to be a highly evolved alien predator with a technically advanced arsenal, resulting in a vicious and terrifying showdown between the two adversaries.”

Amber Midthunder stars along with Dakota Beavers, Stormee Kipp, Michelle Thrush, Julian Black Antelope.

Prey is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, written by Patrick Aison and produced by John Davis and Jhane Myers, with Lawrence Gordon, Marty Ewing, James E. Thomas, John C. Thomas and Marc Toberoff serving as executive producers.

The movie will be available to stream beginning August 5.

Hulu and Searchlight Pictures drop 'Good Luck to You, Leo Grande' trailer

Searchlight Pictures released the trailer for its upcoming Hulu film, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande.

The movie stars Emma Thompson who “embodies the candor and apprehension of retired teacher Nancy Stokes and newcomer Daryl McCormack, who personifies the charisma and compassion of sex worker Leo Grande. As Nancy embarks on a post-marital sexual awakening and Leo draws on his skills and charm, together they find a surprising human connection.”

Directed by Sophie Hyde and written by Katy Brand, Good Luck to You, Leo Grande is produced by Debbie Gray and Adrian Politowski.

The film will be available to stream on Hulu beginning June 17.

Paramount+ drops 'Jerry & Marge Go Large' trailer

Paramount+ has dropped the trailer for the film Jerry & Marge Go Large.

Led by Bryan Cranston and Annette Benning, the film also stars Larry Wilmore, Rainn Wilson, Anna Camp, Ann Harada, Jake McDorman, Michael McKean, and Uly Schlesinger.

It is inspired by the true story of retiree Jerry Selbee played by Cranston, who discovers a mathematical loophole in the Massachusetts lottery and wins millions with his wife Marge, played by Bening. The two use the money won to revive their small Michigan town. The film is directed by Academy Award winner David Frankel and written by Emmy nominee Brad Copeland.

It is produced by Gil Netter, Levantine Films, Amy Baer via MRC Film’s Landline Pictures and is executive produced by Kevin Halloran.
