Lifetime is developing two projects about R. Kelly. One is a television movie, and the second is a docuseries.

Both projects will tackle the plethora of allegations surrounding the sexual abuse of young black women at the hands of the R&B singer.

The two are a part of Lifetime’s Stop Violence Against Women Campaign.

The untitled documentary series will investigate the rumors against Kelly of abuse, predatory behavior and pedophilia, including, for the first-time ever, stories from survivors and those in R. Kelly’s inner circle with new allegations.

The TV film will dive into R. Kelly’s inner-world, “detailing allegations of abuse and mind games.”

The documentary series and movie are both executive produced by Joel Karsberg and Jesse Daniels of Kreativ Inc. Dream Hampton is an executive producer for the series, while Ilene Kahn Power is an executive producer for the movie. Lifetime’s Brie Miranda Bryant is also an executive producer on the series.

No word on a tentative air date for either.
