In the tenth chapter of Vol. 2 in the book of We All Don’t Look Alike, here we have Regina Hall mistaken for Tiffany Haddish by Good Morning America.

In the morning show’s recap of Monday’s Met Gala, Hall’s name was mistaken with that of her Girls Trip co-star.

The mishap was caught on social media and was first reported by Deadline:

What made things even worse was that Haddish was actually interviewed in the same segment. Yikes.

This seems to be a common occurrence. Last year, Danai Gurira was mistaken for Viola Davis by several stock photo agencies.

Both Hall and Haddish are two of Hollywood’s most in-demand stars right now. Season 2 of The Last O.G., which stars Haddish, is currently airing on TBS. She has the DC Comics/Vertigo feature adaptation, The Kitchen with Elisabeth Moss and Melissa McCarthy due soon. Hall’s Showtime comedy, Black Monday, just got renewed for Season 2. She’ll be on the big screen this summer in the Shaft reboot with Jessie T. Usher Jr. and Samuel L. Jackson.
