Regina King is undoubtedly one of the hardest working women in the business and she’s adding another duty to her schedule.

She’s directing an upcoming episode of the hit NBC drama, This Is Us.

Aside from her acting career, King is an in-demand director, and has directed episodes of Scandal, Pitch, Greenleaf, Being Mary Jane and many other shows.

King is currently nominated for the 2017 Emmys for her role in American Crime. She’s a two-time award winner in the category for the role.

She also has a development deal with ABC Studios, with her first project being No Place Safe, a series about Atlanta child murders in the 70s and 80s. She’ll also star in the series, which is set for FX. She also just wrapped up the Netflix series, Seven Seconds, about the aftermath of a police-involved shooting of a black teen in Jersey City.
