After two years of marriage, Cynthia Bailey and her husband Mike Hill have decided to call it quits.

Sources recently confirmed that The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and the sports anchor have been “separated for awhile now” and that their split was “amicable.” Though news of their breakup just made headlines, insiders report that the couple has already filed for divorce.

“They really do love each other and it wasn’t anything scandalous or anyone at at fault…it just didn’t work out,” a source told The Jasmine Brand.

This is Cynthia Bailey's second divorce.

To many fans, it seemed as though Bailey and Hill’s union was stress-free and made to last compared to her previous marriage to her ex, Peter Thomas.

During their six-year marriage, Bailey and Thomas experienced plenty of ups and downs in their relationship, which many watched play out on the RHOA.

After dealing with money issues, bad business deals, and cheating rumors, the couple separated in 2016 and finalized their divorce the following year.

Cynthia Bailey really wanted her and Mike Hill's marriage to work.

In August 2018, Cynthia Bailey announced her relationship with Mike Hill. Almost one year later, the couple became engaged and tied the knot on October 10, 2020.

In 2021, the reality star told Page Six that after going through her divorce with Peter Thomas, she was determined to protect her marriage to Hill.

“I’m very protective of my second marriage because, you know, I really want it to work, and I want to do everything that I can to protect it and to protect Mike,” she said.
