Things between former The Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore are still shaky. The former BFFs had a fallout during filming the Bravo mashup The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls’ Trip. Filming wrapped months ago and Bailey says things are still murky.

What caused the rift?

Tension between Bailey and Moore began almost immediately on the eight day trip to Turks and Caicos. The former supermodel appeared moody and jealous that Moore developed bonds with the other housewives. Moore seemed bothered overall by Bailey’s feelings and kept her distance.

By the end of the trip, a tearful Bailey said that her friendship with Moore would be forever changed.

In an interview with Shadow and Act, Bailey says the history of their friendship shows that she’s been passive toward Moore’s behavior. RHOA fans are familiar with Moore doing some things that fans felt were shady, including nearly ruining Bailey’s surprise engagement to Mike Hill and dissing Bailey’s wine business. After so many passes, Bailey said she started to view things differently.

“All I know is that for me reciprocity is a good thing,” she said. “I’m here for you, I want you to win, I want you to be comfortable, I want to help you and I don’t do it to get it back in return but it’s nice to receive the same energy and I just felt that I’ve gone above and beyond and I don’t feel like I was met with that same reciprocity and it hurt my feelings.”

Their friendship is not back on solid ground

During a recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live, one caller questioned Bailey on the status of her once-close friendship with Moore. Unfortunately, Bailey says things between them remain in limbo.

“We are not like we were before the Girls Trip,” she admitted. “Again, I will always have love in my heart for Kenya. Relationships and friendships go up and down, and it’s really tough to– I’ve learned to maintain healthy relationships when you work together on a platform like this sometimes. I love Kenya..but we are not where we used to be..”

The two have been in contact since the show wrapped.

Viewers remember Bailey tried talking to Moore on the final day of the trip before they left the island. But Moore shut it down. ”We did talk on the phone [since the trip], we had a very lengthy conversation and it was really good,” Bailey said. “But it wasn’t like–it was a conversation that could be more conversations.”

As for what she needs from Moore in order for them to get back on the same page, Bailey says it’s simple. “Reciprocity is like a big word for me okay give back the energy that you receive,” she said.

Kenya Moore doesn’t agree with Cynthia Bailey

While Bailey feels the trip was a change for their friendship, Moore told The Jasmine Brand that she feels Bailey, in a sense, blew things out of proportion.

“I’m not sure what happened honestly,” she said. “There was a moment during the filming where she just felt like you know she had gotten into it with some of the other ladies or over a situation and I wasn’t like stepping up but i’m like no. When you watch it back, you will see I stepped up plenty. So it was like you know we had that but I think we got over it but then you know sometimes people don’t really get over things and it just takes them more time.”
