For weeks, fans have been waiting to hear from Falynn Guobadia amid her now ex-husband Simon’s engagement to her Real Housewives of Atlanta co-star, Porsha Williams. Fans recall Falynn being introduced to the show as a friend of Williams. Williams even spent time at Falynn and Simon’s marital home for events with the cast.

In an interview with Kandi Burruss on Burruss’ YouTube series Speak On It, Falynn spoke of getting to know Williams before joining the show. According to Falynn, the two met through Simon and Williams’ ex-fiance Dennis McKinley. Both Simon and McKinley own businesses in Atlanta, some of which are restaurants.
“Porsha and I got to meet. She was really sweet, very real & genuine. We clicked,” Falynn said of Williams.
But in Williams’ engagement announcement, she insists she and Falynn are and were never friends, noting, “Simon filed for divorce from a previous marriage in January,” she captioned a May 10 post. “I had nothing to do with their divorce filing. That’s between the two of them. Falynn and I are not friends, and Simon’s divorce has been settled.”
With the exception of an Instagram post thanking fans for their well wishes, Falynn has remained mum. But she’s breaking her silence in a sit-down interview set to air on June 10 on Up and Adam.
In a preview posted to her Instagram account, a tearful Falynn denies cheating rumors confirmed by Simon. She also hints that he was the one who pressured her into joining the show, only to turn around and begin dating her co-star. She’ll also address her relationship with Porsha and whether she regrets participating in the show in the first place.
