If it’s one person who is down for Sheree Whitfield to return to The Real Housewives of Atlanta, it’s Kandi Burruss. Multiple media outlets are reporting that Whitfield is close to signing her contract to make her third return to the series and Burruss sees why Whitfield is being vetted.

“I always love Shereé. She’s always good TV to me,” Burruss said recently, as reported by The Jasmine Brand. “She’s had some very explosive moments in some of these past seasons. So, I’m here for it, honestly. If they decide that they want Shereé to come back, I’m here for it.”

Fans have followed Whitfield from her nasty divorce from retired NFL Falcons star Bob Whitfield on seasons 1-4 to her rebuilding her life and her dream home Chateau Sheree from scratch. She’s also documented the ups and downs of her love life but has found solace in her on-again-off-again love, Tyrone Gilliam.

The two dated and lost touch for a few years. Whitfield later learned Gilliam was arrested for fraud and opted to cut ties with the reality star to not involve her in his legal drama. They reconnected a few years ago and maintained their relationship while he was incarcerated.

But now that Gilliam is out, their moving full speed ahead. TMZ notes that their relationship will be a major storyline on the show if Whitfield returns. But the report makes it clear that Whitfield is only open to returning if she gets full-time status.

Whitfield was an original peach holder seasons 1-4, returned as a friend in season 8, and was full-time seasons 9-10. She reportedly left the show again in season 11 due to once again being offered a minimal role as a friend.

With producers looking to completely change the cast, they need Whitfield more than ever. So, her getting a peach shouldn’t be an issue this time around.

Cynthia Bailey is rumored to not be returning, or at minimum, being phased out of the show. Porsha Williams is also allegedly considering not returning amid her engagement scandal. Burruss and Kenya Moore are said to be confirmed to come back.
