It looks like Kenya Moore and Nene Leakes’ longstanding feud is over…maybe. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta co-stars have never been the best of friends, which was made worse by Cynthia Bailey’s close friendship to both women. Leakes and Moore accused the other of being poor friends to Bailey, often leading to major blowups. But after the death of Leakes’ longtime husband Gregg, and Moore showing her support at Gregg’s repass, the two appear to be in a much better place.

Moore recently explained why she feels Leakes should return to the franchise. Leakes exited after an explosive Season 12, which featured tense moments between her and Moore. Leakes has since accused the network of phasing her out and being biased against cast members of color.

Kenya Moore on why she supported Nene Leakes after Gregg Leakes’ death

Just because Moore and Nene were arch enemies, did not mean Moore had issues with Gregg. In fact, Moore told Entertainment Tonight that her relationship with Gregg was always the opposite of her experience with his wife.

“I was there to support. Gregg never, ever treated me any differently whether I was feuding with NeNe [Leakes] or not. And for that, I respected him so much, and he was just a kind, gentle, caring, supportive man, and she was really lucky to have him,” Moore said. “Honestly, he is one of the nicest men I ever met in my life. To be there was a no-brainer.”

Moore says despite her issues with any of her current or former co-stars, she’s always willing to do what’s best for the show. That extends to having Leakes as a cast member.

“You know what, NeNe is I believe is an asset to Housewives,” Moore told The Jasmine Brand in a recent chat. “As much as I’ve fought with her and the issues she’s had with me and her personhood…I still believe as a producer head as a fan of the show, that there is a place for her on Housewives.”
