Kenya Moore is getting backlash for some comments that she made recently. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star recently made remarks about two Bravolebrities who are also Black women – Garcelle Beauvais of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Eboni K. Williams of The Real Housewives of New York. Both Beauvais and Williams are the first full-time Black cast members of their respective franchises and are open about how their experiences in life and in their careers differ from their white co-stars.

Moore said one played the “the race card” and made similar insinuations about the other. Her comments come amid the recent airing of episodes in which Beauvais and Williams go up against their co-stars regarding race.

Beauvais has been in an ongoing feud with co-star Kyle Richards after Richards’ claim that Beauvais didn’t pay a $5,000 donation to charity. When speaking about the ordeal, Beauvais said her comments allow viewers to feed into stereotypes relating to a Black person not paying a bill. She ultimately re-sent the donation to Richards after discovering she previously sent it to the wrong address.

Moore spoke out about Beauvais on Twitter, writing, “I don’t think @KyleRichards calling Garcelle out about not paying her donation has anything to do with color. It’s not a black or white issue. It’s a green issue. Let’s not pull the race card every episode. They weren’t cool at the time. Glad they talked it through #RHOBH.”

Similarly, Williams has been having tough conversations with her co-stars about race and class, including confronting Ramona Singer about calling her domestic staff “the help” – and going toe-to-toe with Luann de Lessepes about education. Moore also spoke out about Williams.

Moore commented on an Instagram clip of the exchange, writing, “LOL degrees make you more educated it doesn’t always mean they are more intelligent.”

But fans are shooting Moore down on social media.

“Can we cancel Kenya already,” one fan wrote.

“Kenya is the Stacey Dash of Real Housewives,” wrote another.

But Moore isn’t backing down. She shot back to fans on Twitter writing, “Hi @GarcelleB paid once she was made aware of the oversight. Others did not. IMO Kyle would have called ANYONE out who she was beefing with-black OR white.  I’m a fan of @GarcelleB and @EboniKWilliams is a beast! We can be objective to facts and sensitive.”
