Marlo Hampton has worked her way up from a friend of the cast on The Real Housewives of Atlanta to a current peach holder.
Hampton’s fashions, lavish lifestyle and straight to the point comments often have the other Atlanta housewives up in arms.
It’s Hampton’s current position as a housewife that is met with shade from her castmate and former Miss USA, Kenya Moore. Moore was recently on a talk show where she called Hampton an ex-con and it’s not sitting well with Hampton.
And in true Hampton form, she clapped back in a major way.

Moore stopped by The Wendy Willams Show this week to talk about the current season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta and didn’t hold back when it came to spilling the piping hot tea about all that took place with her and her fellow housewives this season. While on the purple couch, the former Miss USA and hair care entrepreneur didn’t hold back as she chatted with guest host, Michael Rapaport.
The conversation took a shady turn when Rapaport mentioned the rumor of jealousy between Moore and Hampton.
“She says that you, Kenya Moore, are jealous about here getting her peach,” Rapaport told Moore.
Moore responded: “Jealous? Why would I be jealous? I’m an icon, she’s an ex-con. Why would I be jealous?”

Hampton is known for her fiery, shady, and below-the-belt comebacks. But this time she took the high road. After hearing of Moore’s comments, she took to Instagram to clap back, but in a different way.
Hampton posted six of her mugshots, followed by pictures of the boutique she once owned in Atlanta, her getting her diploma, and her alongside her two nephews she is raising.
She then added several Hampton-style hashtags and the caption: “A round of applause to all the ex-cons who’ve turned their life around. It’s not where you start, but about how you finish! Keep going!”
