Just three months of her husband Gregg died from colon cancer, former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Nene Leakes is coupled up. The OG housewife is reportedly happily dating an entrepreneur. Despite many feeling Leakes is moving on too quickly, Leakes says Gregg would want her to be happy.
Nene Leakes debuts new man
Photos of Leakes with a bearded gentleman began floating around social media in recent weeks. As it turns out, the man’s name is Nyonisela Sioh. Sioh owns a couture suit company in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is from Liberia, Africa.
The two haven’t wasted any time sending one another cute photos of one another on social media and commenting on one another’s posts. She even hinted at her new bliss in a recent snapshot of herself, “I just wanna be happy….that’s all,” she captioned a photo of her smiling alongside a heart emoji and the hashtag, #onelife.
The former ‘RHOA’ star says Gregg gave her permission to date
Leakes was introduced to the North Carolina businessman by Peter Thomas, the former husband of her old co-star and former BFF, Cynthia Bailey. How long they have been dating is unclear, but she insists Gregg gave her his blessing to move on after his death.

In an exclusive interview with The Shade Room, Leakes spoke of having the conversation with Gregg.
“I will love Gregg forever & ever! Grieving is hard! Even harder & depressing alone,” she said. “Gregg and I had a very tearful conversation before his passing. His words to me were ‘be happy, keep smiling and he who finds you, has found a good one.'”

The lounge owner was photographed with Sioh at her 54th birthday party recently. She and Gregg’s son Brent threw her a surprise party at her Georgia lounge. Days later, Leakes shared photos of her and Sioh celebrating his birthday in Miami, Florida. A source told Access Hollywood that the two are “in love” and that she’s thriving in the new relationship.
