Amid news of her engagement to her co-star Falynn Guobadia’s estranged husband, Simon Guobadia, Page Six reports that Porsha Williams is getting her own Bravo special. This will be the second spinoff special for The Real Housewives of Atlanta star. She documented the birth of her daughter Pilar in a three-part special Porsha’s Having a Baby

Per the report, the new three-part special was greenlit before Williams’ engagement announcement and was set to focus primarily on her activism in the Black Lives Matter Movement. Viewers saw some of William’s activism during Season 13 but the upcoming special was to document her work more in detail outside of her ensemble cast.

“It was greenlit months ago, so it has nothing to do with this [engagement] news,” a source told the publication. “The special is supposed to focus on Porsha, her activism, and her family.”

But since Guobadia is now in the picture and the messiness surrounding the engagement is a hot topic, sources say the direction of the show is sure to change. Guobadia is a business associate with Williams’ ex-fiance, Dennis McKinnley.

Williams insists she and Falynn were never friends, despite Falynn being introduced on the show as such.  A source says none of Williams’ RHOA co-stars are set to appear in the new series, but her family — including her sister Lauren Williams and mother Diane Williams — will “probably” be featured. As for whether or not Guobadia will be featured, the source notes, “if he’s still around.”

Production is set to begin this summer.
