'RHOA': Rumor Claims Kandi Burruss May Be Out And This 'The Real' Host Could Be In

According to some new rumors, Jeannie Mai may be going from daytime talk show host to a peach holder on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

The co-host of The Real is rumored to be joining the cast in the next season, and allegedly, longtime cast member Kandi Burruss may not rreturn.

Filming for Season 14 has already reportedly wrapped and will air later this year. Mai is married to Atlanta rapper Jeezy and lives in the area full-time where they are raising their newborn daughter.

A rumor from a popular radio show says Kandi Burruss may not come back

Burruss has been on the show since season 2 and has been the only cast member from her franchise to have multiple spinoff specials. Her latest spinoff centered on her Atlanta family soul food restaurant is scheduled to premiere in March 2022.

“Kandi was boring this season, and she’s the highest-paid housewife. She’s gone after this season,” a source told The Ricky Smiley Morning Show. “This new season is expected to be one of the best in YEARS. Sheree and Marlo are the stars of this season. Drew brought the drama, and so did Kenya. But Sanya and Kandi are on the chopping block.”

Burruss has been open about her contemplating leaving the show previously. She’s told several media outlets during interviews that as each season begins and contract negotiations are on the table, she ponders whether or not it’s her time to go.

She also has thriving businesses in the adult toy industry, retail, cosmetics, entertainment, and she’s now acting with a recurring role on The Chi. Long story short, her plate is full.

Sheree Whitfield and Marlo Hampton are reportedly breakout stars this season, per the report

Whitfield is returning to the show for the third time. Much of her storyline will focus on her relationship with Tyrone Gilliams, who was recently released from prison.

After being on the show since season 4 as a friend, Hampton was finally bumped up to a full-timer. The report notes that she also brings the drama. Her on-again-off-again friendship with Kenya Moore is what was captured most.

Also returning are Drew Sidora, who joined last season and reportedly has issues with Whitfield and newcomer, Sanya Richards Ross. Richards Ross was also stated in the rumor report as potentially not coming back.
