Garcelle Beauvais made history as the first Black woman to join Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills its 10th season. The seasoned actress came on the show as the longtime friend to fellow actress Denise Richards and proved her loyalty when Richards was accused of having an affair with her female co-star, Brandi Glanville.

Beauvais held her own against the veteran reality stars, never backing down from a verbal spat with the likes of Kyle Richards and Lisa Rinna. She also shocked many by asking Sutton Strake where her money comes from, something that offended Strake. Beauvais was unbothered by Strake’s response.

Richards has chosen not to return. Initially, Beauvais was adamant that she’d leave the show along with Richards, but she’s since had a change of heart. Beauvais is returning to the series for what will be her second season, and she has a lot to show this time around. The Jamie Foxx Show star is the newest co-host of The Real. Viewers will get to see her balancing her life as a daytime talk show host, hot acting career, and of course, her day to day as a mother and grandmother.

She may also dip back into the dating pool. Last season, she was in a relationship with film producer, Michael Elliot. By the end of the season, the couple split. But Beauvais is open to love again, maybe even with her on-screen love interest, Jamie Foxx.bBeauvais and Foxx recently admitted on her podcast that there’s a mutual attraction between the two, but they’ve never explored a romantic relationship. Both are currently single, so the possibility of love is there.

Beauvais is excited about her return, telling Entertainment Tonight, “I am returning to the Housewives, yes,” she says. “You know, you gotta be a little, a little brave, a little scared, a little ready. I mean, it’s all those things, and I say it with a laugh because I’m ready, but you’re never really ready.”

As for her co-stars, Beauvais sends a warning, primarily to Rinna. “So, here we go, you know? And I sorta got a warning from Ms. Rinna, so we’ll see. I’m ready though, bring it,” she said. She admits that she’s afraid of the skeletons her co-stars could try and pull out of her closet as she witnessed with Richards, but she’s not letting it keep her from her coins and the platform the popular reality series offers.

The remainder of the cast for season 11 of RHOBH has yet to be confirmed.
