Candiace Dillard Bassett has been in front-burner drama during this season of The Real Housewives of Potomac. As the season wraps up, Dillard Bassett continues to make no apologies for her behavior.

During a recent appearance on E! News’ Daily Pop, she told former RHOA star Cynthia Bailey that her husband believes her co-stars actually are the ones who start with her in order to get a heightened reaction out of her.

“Chris gets so upset with me because he feels like a lot of the girls use my emotional state to make good TV,” she said (as reported by Urban Belle Mag) adding, “The gift and the curse of being Candiace is I am always going to come to the table authentically Candiace. Good, bad, or indifferent.”

Dillard Bassett was also asked whether or not she regrets throwing salad at Mia Thornton during their couple’s trip to the Chesapeake Bay.

She has a reason for her reactions.

“Would I do it again? No. I probably would have stopped at when we got to the kitchen, and she was talking to Ashley literally behind my back…she was asking for that moment. And once again my husband is right, these women like to use what they know is a sure-fire thing, I’m going to be emotional, to make TV.”

Dillard Bassett added, “It’s unfair because I’m also a nice person. I like to have fun…I’m a girl’s girl. I wanna have a good time, I wanna drink, I wanna play, twerk, and have fun.”

She also said she refuses to allow anyone to “son” her. “I’m not son-able, don’t come for me, don’t play me. And if you try to play me, like I said, I’m always home. You can come to the door and get what you’ve come to get. Amen.”

The four-part reunion special begins airing on Bravo on Sunday, Nov. 7. Rapper Nicki Minaj is joining as a co-host.
