Chris Bassett has gotten a lot of flack for managing Candiace Dillard Bassett’s career. The former restaurateur has been working with Candiace to maintain her budding singing and acting career.

Chris has been the liaison between Candiace and producers, helping to ensure she attends recording sessions on time and meets deadlines for her music video visuals. Though Candiace is grateful for Chris’ help, others are skeptical.
He caught a lot of flack from Candiace’s co-stars who complain that they feel Chris is riding Candiace’s coattails.
