During parts two and three of The Real Housewives of Potomac reunion, Andy Cohen questioned Candiace Dillard Bassett and Monique Samuels about what led to their verbal spat becoming physical. Cohen had each woman re-tell the events from their point of view.

During one segment in part two of the reunion, Samuels accused Dillard of putting her hands in her face. Per Samuels, Dillard doing so caused her to feel threatened and retaliate physically. Cohen denied that Dillard became physical first, despite a clip from production corroborating Samuels’ claim proving otherwise.

Cohen continued grilling Samuels as Dillard Bassett cried, calling Samuels’ retelling of the events “cut and dry.” Cohen also accused Samuels of being non-emotional and appearing non-remorseful. He also did not think that Samuels’ recently released rap song “Drag Queens” was in good jest. According to Cohen, Samuels’ decision to release the song only added to Dillard’s drama.

Samuels quit the show after watching part three of the reunion, citing poor editing and admitting that Cohen’s line of questioning was one-sided.

Social media users agree and have been blasting Cohen for days since parts two and three of the reunion aired.
