We’ve only seen the first of the three parts of The Real Housewives of Potomac‘s reunion, and as she teased, Gizelle Bryant is already taking most of the heat.
She was first grilled by Karen Huger after revealing EveryHue Beauty was not currently operating after the distributor shut down due to COVID-19. Huger called Bryant out for always talking negatively about her businesses and calling them fake.
Later, the topic turned to Bryant’s relationship with ex-husband Jamal Bryant. When Bryant said that they are, in fact, together and he does not have a new child with another woman, Samuels said, “When y’all was announcing you got back together, he told his girlfriend at the time it was just reality TV and it wasn’t true.”
Samuels then pulled out her binder and delivered receipts including text messages from Bryant’s alleged girlfriend and what she says are a “bunch of screenshots, pictures of him in her bed and everything else.”
She explained, “I was like, ‘Yeah, I’m not going there, I don’t play dirty.’ But, since Gizelle likes to play dirty, I’ll go ahead and return since I’m here right now. He’s definitely been talking to another woman and it’s clear conversations and if you’d like to see them, I got them in my little receipt book right there.”
The most gag-worthy moment came when Cohen asked how she knew that the texts were in fact from Bryant. “Want me to call out his phone number? I’m sure she knows his phone number is,” said Samuels, as Bryant confirmed it was in fact his number.
Candiace Dillard Bassett, whose fight with Samuels was the center of the season, continued to chime in during the exchange as well.
This looks to be just the beginning as we’ll find out soon the real reason why Samuels is taking her fellow cast members to task as the Bryants’ relationship will be talked about in Part 2, airing next Sunday on Bravo.
