Rome Flynn is on the rise. The 26-year-old actor/singer/musician has already won a Daytime Emmy for his role as Zende Forrester Dominguez on the daytime soap The Bold and the Beautiful. Now, he’s heating up Thursday nights alongside Viola Davis on the hit ABC show How to Get Away with Murder. Flynn plays the mysterious new 2L law student Gabriel Maddox who might just have it in for Annalise…or might be Bonnie’s son…or…or…who knows with this show?

Flynn dropped by Shadow & Act to talk about starring alongside Davis and to give us hints about whether Gabriel is the man seen bleeding out in the snow and being suffocated by Bonnie in the show’s flash-forwards. His plea to the showrunners: “Don’t kill me!” But considering how light-skin men fare on this show–RIP, Wes!–it’s not looking good for the kid:
