Fresh off another round of perennial Emmy nominations RuPaul’s Drag Race has been greenlit for a new season, along with its spinoff, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked.
VH1 announced Monday that the record-breaking competition series will introduce a new group of sickening queens for a highly anticipated 15th season which will include the 200th episode for the franchise’s main series. The spinoff, RuPaul’s Drag Race: Untucked, will also be making its return, airing each week after brand new episodes of Drag Race.
“When I hear season 15 of RuPaul’s Drag Race, I have to pinch myself – I just won’t tell you where,” said six-time Emmy Award-winning host and executive producer, RuPaul. “We never take for granted the opportunity we’ve been given to showcase drag excellence and tell authentic queer stories. Thank you to the fans, World of Wonder, VH1, our cast and crew, and most of all, our brave and beautiful queens.”
The new season of RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race is currently airing every Friday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
So far, there is no word on when Season 15 of RuPaul’s Drag Race will premiere.
