'RuPaul's Drag Race' Increases Winner Prize Money For Season 14, Runner-Up Will Also Get Cash Prize For First Time Ever

Gather all of the girls! The cash price on RuPaul’s Drag Race is increasing and the runner-up is now. getting something too!

For the first time in Drag Race herstory, the award-winning show is awarding its season 14 winner a whopping $150,000. Powered by Cash App, the winner will take home the six-figure cash prize and the runner-up will receive $50,000.

This season, 14 queens from all over the world came together to compete for the title. Angeria Paris VanMicheals, Bosco, Willow Pill, Lady Camden and Daya Betty are still vying for the crown. The finale will take place at the Flamingo Hotel in Las Vegas and will April 22.

The most Emmy-awarded competition series show in TV history has three episodes left in this season. The remaining episodes include:

“Catwalk” (April 8) – “The top queens must play catty supermodels battling for the spotlight in the music video for RuPaul’s new hit song, Catwalk. Michelle Visage, Ross Mathews and Carson Kressley judge.”

“Reunited” (April 15) – “One week away from the Grand Finale, the queens return to discuss the season’s gaggiest moments.’

“Finale” (April 22) – “It’s time to crown a winner baby! Our top finalists compete in Las Vegas for the grand prize of $150,000 and the title of America’s Next Drag Superstar.”

Episodes air Fridays at 8 p.m on VH1.
