“Scandal” returns with an all-new episode tomorrow with a new cast addition making her debut on the ABC series from Shonda Rhimes’ Shondaland shingle.

Saycon Sengbloh booked multiple episodes (appearing in the next 3 – Feb. 2, 9 and 16) playing a character named Angela Webster, although no word at this time on what exactly her story is and how she connects to the “Scandal” universe.

In tomorrow night’s episode, titled “Hardball,” when Sengbloh will begin her 3-episode run, after a tight race and shocking conclusion to the election, flashbacks reveal what happened on the campaign trail and just how far Olivia was willing to go to win. Meanwhile, Fitz and Abby are faced with an unprecedented national crisis, and the gladiators are determined to get answers.

“Scandal” stars Kerry Washington as Olivia Pope, Guillermo Diaz as Huck, Darby Stanchfield as Abby Whelan, Katie Lowes as Quinn Perkins, Tony Goldwyn as President Fitzgerald Grant, Jeff Perry as Cyrus Beene, Joshua Malina as David Rosen, Bellamy Young as First Lady Mellie Grant, Scott Foley as Jake Ballard, Portia De Rossi as Elizabeth North, Joe Morton as Rowan Pope and Cornelius Smith Jr. as Marcus Walker.

“Scandal” was created by Shonda Rhimes. Shonda Rhimes, Betsy Beers, Mark Fish and Tom Verica are executive producers.

“Scandal” is produced by ABC Studios.

Sengbloh was a recipient, alongside fellow co-stars, of the 2016 Obie Award for Best Ensemble for Danai Gurira’s play “Eclipsed”; she will next be seen on the big screen in director Ernest Dickerson’s “Double Play” which premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam last week.
