'Seberg' Trailer: Amazon's '60s-Set Film Stars Kristen Stewart, Anthony Mackie And Zazie Beetz

Amazon has released the first trailer for one of its awards season films, Seberg (fka Against All Enemies). The trailer was dropped on the birthday of one of the film's subjects, Jean Seberg.

The film stars Kristen Stewart, Anthony Mackie Zazie Beetz, Jack O’Connell, Margaret Qualley, and Vince Vaughn.

Here's the official description: Seberg is inspired by true events about the French New Wave darling and Breathless star, Jean Seberg (Stewart), who in the late 1960s was targeted by the FBI because of her support of the civil rights movement and romantic involvement with Hakim Jamal (Mackie), among others. In Benedict Andrews’ noir-ish thriller, Seberg’s life and career are destroyed by [J. Edgar] Hoover’s overreaching surveillance and harassment in an effort to suppress and discredit Seberg’s activism.

The film is directed by Benedict Andrews and written by Anna Waterhouse and Joe Shrapnel.
