Alfre Woodard has booked her first regular TV role post-Luke Cage, and it seems to be a big one.

She’ll star opposite Jason Momoa in Apple’s See.

The futuristic drama is from Steven Knight, director Francis Lawrence, Chernin Entertainment and Endeavor Content.

The series is described as an “epic, world-building drama set in the future, set in a future when the human race has lost the sense of sight, and society has had to find new ways to interact, to build, to hunt, to survive. All of that is challenged when a set of twins with sight is born.”

Woodard will star as Paris, an advisor and priestess. Momoa leads the series as Baba Voss, a fearless warrior, leader and guardian.

Woodard, a four-time Emmy winner and an Oscar nominee, will next star in the upcoming Lion King film and will star in and exec produce Netflix’s Juanita.
