'She-Hulk': Renée Elise Goldsberry To Join Tatiana Maslany In Disney+'s MCU Series

Renée Elise Goldsberry is joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

The Hamilton breakout is primed for a main role in She-Hulk opposite the series lead Tatiana Maslany. She-Hulk is a half-hour legal comedy that stars Maslany as Jennifer Walters / She-Hulk. She is an attorney who has powers that are similar to those of her cousin, Bruce Banner / The Hulk (Mark Ruffalo).

Per the Deadline exclusive report, the only thing known right now about Goldsberry's character is that her name is Amelia. Goldsberry joins Maslany, Ruffalo and Ginger Gonzaga in the series. Gonzaga is She-Hulk's best friend.

The series will be directed by Kat Coiro and Ana Valia and Jessica Gao is the headwriter.

Goldsberry can be seen soon as one of the leads in the Peacock series, Girls5Eva. Outside of her Tony Award-winning performance in Hamilton, she is also known for her roles in Waves, Altered Carbon and more.
