Sherman’s Showcase, the acclaimed Black variety show parody series, is coming back with a one-hour Black History Month Spectacular on June 19. Not only will it be broadcast on its network home, IFC, but it will also air on AMC. It’ll be airing at 10 p.m. on AMC and 11 p.m. on IFC.

The description: Because black vampires are one of the most maligned and historically misunderstood subgroups within the diaspora, it’s time for them to set the record straight.
The series, created by and starring Bashir Salahuddin and Diallo Riddle (Marlon, South Side), and executive produced by John Legend’s Get Lifted Film Co. and RadicalMedia, had a critically-acclaimed first season that had a 100% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
The official description states: The acclaimed Sherman’s Showcase will roll out its “Black History Month Spectacular” by honoring historic African-American icons both past and present, alongside superheroes, period dramas, vampires, and a very special re-imagining of the cult film The Last Dragon.
