'Single Drunk Female': Cynthia Bailey Pops Into Freeform Comedy Series This Week — Watch A Preview

Freeform's Single Drunk Female will see The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Cynthia Bailey pop in on Thursday night as a guest star.

In the third episode entitled, “I’m Sorry, But…,” things get pretty interesting.

According to the episode’s description: “Sam (Sofia Black-D’Elia) tries to win over Brit (Sasha Compère) by making amends at her birthday party. Unfortunately, Sam wasn't invited, and neglects Felicia (Lily Mae Harrington). Meanwhile, when Sam's probation officer stops by, Carol (Ally Sheedy) struggles to explain Sam’s 'situation' to her friends."

In Single Drunk Female, "after a public flame-out at a New York media company, 20-something alcoholic Samantha Fink (Black-D’Elia) is forced to seize the only chance she has to sober up and avoid jail time: moving back home with her overbearing mother, Carol (Sheedy). Back in Greater Boston, Samantha restarts her life, working at the local grocery store while surrounded by all of the triggers that made her drink in the first place. Confronted with remnants of her old life, including run-ins with her perfect former best friend, who is now dating her ex, Samantha sets out on a path to move past her worst self and figure out her best self. Kinda."

The series stars Black-D’Elia, Sheedy, Compère, Harrington, Rebecca Henderson and Garrick Bernard.

It is from 20th Television and is written and created by Simone Finch, who will executive produces along with Jenni Konner, Daisy Gardner, Phil Traill, Nora Silver and Leslye Headland.

Bailey bid adieu to the Atlanta franchise of Bravo’s hit reality series last year. She was recently announced as a houseguest on the third season of Celebrity Big Brother, which premieres next month.
