Paramount+ has unveiled a first look and the official title of its upcoming Taylor Sheridan thriller series starring Zoe Saldaña and Nicole Kidman.

Special Ops: Lioness is an espionage thriller based on a real-life program that trains and dispatches women around the world as undercover operatives.

Here's an official description:

SPECIAL OPS: LIONESS follows Cruz Manuelos (Laysla De Oliveira), a rough-around-the-edges but passionate young Marine recruited to join the Lioness Engagement Team to help bring down a terrorist organization from within. Saldaña will play Joe, the station chief of the Lioness program tasked with training, managing and leading her female undercover operatives.

The stars and is executive produced by Saldaña and Kidman.

Other series regulars include Dave Annable, Jill Wagner, LaMonica Garrett, James Jordan, Austin Hébert, Jonah Wharton, Stephanie Nur and Hannah Love Lanier with Michael Kelly in a recurring role.

In addition to Saldaña and Kidman, Special Ops: Lioness is executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, Bob Yari, David Hutkin, Jill Wagner, Geyer Kosinski, Michael Malone and John Hillcoat.
