Spike Lee’s "Chi-Raq" made its home entertainment premiere last week, December 29, from Lionsgate.
The film, which is also still in theaters by the way, is now available for purchase at all Digital HD retailers and On Demand on select digital platforms such as Amazon, iTunes, Vudu, Xbox, Playstation, Google Play and MGO.
It’ll become available on Blu-ray and DVD on January 26, 2016, for those who prefer hard copies.
But if you’re an Amazon Prime subscriber, and you’d rather wait to see the film as part of your subscription instead of paying to own the film on Digital HD, Blu-ray and DVD, or paying to rent it on iTunes, Xbox, etc, you’ll be glad to know that "Chi-Raq" will become available to stream on Amazon Prime on February 5.

"Chi-Raq" – an Amazon Studios film (the company’s first feature film) – was always destined for an early home video release, given Amazon’s distribution model; not-so unlike what Netflix did with "Beasts of No Nation."
