Sterling K. Brown has joined the Blake Lively spy film, The Rhythm Section as it resumes production.

Production was halted in January after Lively sustained a hand injury in December when she was shooting a stunt. Her surgery did not go as planned the first time and required a longer recovery period.

The actress is said to have made a full recovery and production will resume in Spain this month.

Directed by Reed Morano (The Handmaid’s Tale), the film is said to be a modern adaptation of the novels, “which follows a woman (Lively) who assumes three different identities as she seeks to uncover the truth behind a plane crash that killed her family — a flight that she was meant to be on.”

Jude Law also stars. Brown’s role is not known.

This is another film for Brown in what has been a busy year for him. The This is Us star also has The Predator and Hotel Artemis out this year. He also played a pivotal role in February’s Black Panther.

THR first reported the story.
