Sterling K. Brown makes his first appearance as part of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel cast in the official trailer for Season 3.
In the trailer, you can see Brown in a short snippet as he wishes Midge (Rachel Brosnahan) and Susie (Alex Bornstein) a safe flight. His role, however, as well as his importance to this season’s storyline, are still under wraps.
As the storyline reads, Brown is coming on a season that will have Midge traveling with soul singer Shy Baldwin, played by Leroy McClain. According to the official description:
Midge and Susie discover that life on tour with Shy is glamorous but humbling, and they learn a lesson about show business they’ll never forget. Joel [Michael Zegen] struggles to support Midge while pursuing his own dreams. Abe [Tony Shalhoub] embraces a new mission and Rose learns she has talents of her own.
