Sterling Sulieman has booked a recurring role on NBC's new comedy series, The New Normal.

In The New Normal, an LA-based successful gay couple wants to have a baby. To assist, they enlist the help of a single Midwestern mother and waitress, who has moved to L.A. with her own family, and eventually becomes the gay couple's surrogate.

Sulieman will play a character named Clint, described as "the Republican EMT brother" of the assistant (named Rocky) to one half of the gay couple. And who's playing Rocky, the assistant? NeNe Leakes – best known as a cast member on The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

Sulieman's resume is loaded with TV work; currently, you can catch him on ABC Family’s Pretty Little Liars.

The New Normal is scheduled to premiere on NBC on September 11, 2012, at 9:30/8:30c.
