Qasim Bashir’s third feature film, A Boy. A Girl. A Dream., which premiered at Sundance in January, has been acquired by Samuel Goldwyn Films.

Omari Hardwick and Meagan Good both star in the film which is being produced by Datari Turner via his Datari Turner Productions. Basir is directing from his own script.

Jay Ellis, Dijon Talton, Kenya Barris, and Wesley Jonathan round out the cast of a movie that will center on a Los Angeles club promoter named Cass (Hardwick), who meets a woman named Free (Good) on election night 2016, as Donald Trump pulls ahead of Hillary Clinton in the race for electoral votes to win the White House. In a series of events that occur through the evening, Free challenges Cass to revisit his broken dreams.
