The trailer for Lifetime’s Surviving R. Kelly Part II: The Reckoning has been released, as well as premiere dates for the two-part docuseries. Part one of the four-hour docuseries will air January 3 at 9 p.m. ET, with the second part airing January 4 at 9 p.m. ET. The entirety of the original Surviving R. Kelly docuseries will re-air January 2, in advance of the follow-up.

According to Rolling Stone, Part II, which is part of Lifetime’s Stop Violence Against Women Initiative, will focus on “the immediate cultural impact in the aftermath of Surviving R. Kelly.” It will also look at everything that has happened since its airing, including Kelly’s various charges and federal indictments, being cut from his record label, the gun threat at the documentary’s premiere and more. New allegations against Kelly will also be revealed.

Interviews in Part II include Kitti Jones and Jerhonda Pace, who spoke about their experiences with Kelly in Surviving R. Kelly, as well as Jim DeRogatis, the journalist who has reported on R. Kelly’s sexual abuse for years. Other interviews include #MeToo founder Tarana Burke, W. Kamau Bell, lawyer Michael Avenatti, who represents several of the women accusing Kelly, State’s Attorney for Cook County Kimberly Foxx, Mathew Knowles and Damon Dash.
