Season two of Sweet Life: Los Angeles is coming to an end. Its final episode premieres tonight on HBO Max, and fans are already missing the reality TV series. Of course, viewers are hopeful for a season three, which has yet to be announced. But if fans are waiting for show alum Jordan Bentley to return, they may be waiting for longer than they hope.

What is ‘Sweet Life: Los Angeles’?

Sweet Life: Los Angeles is an HBO Max reality series that centers on seven young, Black friends as they navigate their careers and relationships while living in Los Angeles. Fans tune in each week to watch their stories unfold.

The show even found a celebrity fan in actress Keke Palmer, who took to social media to shout out the show.

“Sweet Life is giving me everything I need. I done binged season one and almost all of season two in just two days. I need more.” She says in a recent Twitter post.

Saying goodbye to season 2

And she’s not alone. Even though the season finale is now out, fans are already upset over having to say goodbye. But as the saying goes, “Nothing lasts forever.” And unfortunately, that includes season two of the show.

Of course, if the show is renewed for a third season, viewers can expect to see all of their faves back in action again. But what about Jordan Bentley, who did not appear in season 2. Take a look at what we know so far about Bentley and whether he’ll be back for season three:

Sure, Jordan Bentley is a Sweet Life: Los Angeles cast member, but he is much more than that. He grew up in Los Angeles, where he fell in love with streetwear and anime. He recalls anime being “an escape from reality” for him and his friends.

“I remember collecting Pokemon cards, Yu-Gi-Oh cards, any card game that revolved around anime, watching Toonami every night with my siblings.” He says, reminiscing about his childhood. Little did he know that his love of streetwear and anime would lead to the wildly successful business he owns today.

Later, Bentley moved on to attend UC Irvine, where he graduated with a bachelor’s degree. And according to a report from Dirt, he’s the proud owner of a newly purchased $5 million home in Hollywood’s Beachwood Canyon neighborhood.

What does he do?

Jordan Bentley is part of the original cast of Sweet Life: Los Angeles. But before he appeared on the show, he was already making a name for himself in the fashion industry.

Bentley is the founder and creative director of Hypland, a streetwear brand featuring art from popular anime shows like Dragon Ball Z and Naruto.

It all started when he was gifted a silkscreen machine for Christmas in the eighth grade. Bentley sat down for a Netflix interview to discuss the Hypland x Yasuke Collection. He says, “from there, I grew up doing art and began printing my own T-shirts in my Mom’s living room.”

The brand quickly grew. And since then, Hypland has become a multi-million dollar business.

Where have you seen him before?

As the owner of a multi-million dollar brand, Jordan Bentley is a pretty busy guy. From anime expos to Hello Kitty pop-ups, it’s hard to miss him. Plus, he’s active on a number of social media accounts, including TikTok, Twitch, Instagram, and more.

And even though he’s a regular on Sweet Life: Los Angeles, he’s no stranger to television. You might have also seen him in an episode of the popular Netflix show Floor is Lava

There, he and his team competed to avoid the fake lava that flooded beneath their feet. To see how he fared, watch him battle it out in episode 3 on Netflix.

Jordan Bentley did not appear in season 2 for unexplained reasons.

Though we don’t know why, as the owner of a growing business, it’s safe to say that Bentley has quite a bit on his plate. And his fans can tell that just by checking out his regular posts and updates on social media.
