Ahead of its world premiere at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival, the first look at the jazz-era period drama, Sylvie’s Love, has been released.

The film stars a sprawling ensemble cast led by Tessa Thompson and Nnamdi Asomugha. It also stars Eva Longoria Bastón, Aja Naomi King, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Regé-Jean Page, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jemima Kirke, MC Lyte, Alano Miller, Erica Gimpel, Tone Bell and more.

Here’s the logline: Years after their summer romance comes to an end, an aspiring television producer and a talented musician (Thompson and Asomugha) cross paths, only to find their feelings for each other never changed. With their careers taking them in different directions, they must choose what matters most.

Eugene Ashe is the writer and director. Asomugha, Gabrielle Glore, Jonathan Baker and Matthew Thurm produce the film.
