DeWanda Wise has been cast in Jurassic World 3 in one of the film’s leading roles.

She joins returning franchise stars Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, as well as Sam Neill, Laura Dern and Jeff Goldblum, who starred in the original Jurassic Park.

Colin Trevorrow will direct the film. He co-wrote it with Emily Carmichael. Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow will executive produce. Frank Marshall and Pat Crowley are also producing.

Wise, most known for her role in Spike Lee’s Netflix series version of She’s Gotta Have It, also recently starred in the Netflix feature, Someone Great. She’ll be seen next on the big screen with Kevin Hart and Alfre Woodard in Fatherhood.
